Megan Rides Through the Rockies for the Second Time!

On June 15th, Monroy completes a 6 day cycling adventure through the Rockies.  This was her second year conquering the mountains of Colorado.  Last year Megan rode through the Rockies but on a different route.  This year, her trek started in Gunnison and after 5 mountain passes and roughly 24000 vertical feet of climbing, she finished in Fort Collins.  Despite a big fire in Fort Collins that had been blazing for a couple days prior to her arrival, Megan mentioned, "I didn't even smell any smoke on that last day in Fort Collins, which was nice."

Regarding the ride, Monroy stated, "The whole experience is unbeatable- my friends, the memories, the views, the challenges, can't beat it.  The route this year was a bit more challenging than it was last year which was great, and we were lucky enough to have spactular weather!"
